Two friends are late: check their arrival on the map

Use optional location sharing and route estimates to decide whether to wait.

Friends spending time together. Two friends are late: check their arrival on the map

Sam is at Bürkliplatz for a lakeside walk; Alex and Nina are still on the way. If they choose to share their location in the app, Sam can open the map, view arrivals and select a person.

The example shows Alex’s calculated walking route, about 19 minutes and 1.4 km remaining. Select Nina separately to check her route. The line is a suggested route, not a recorded trail. Locations update while sharing; estimates refresh with meaningful movement.

Times are estimates, not guarantees. Sharing is optional and can stop; permissions, connectivity and stale locations affect availability. Android currently estimates walking and driving routes, not public transport. If no fresh location is available, ask in chat instead.
